Meet Our Communication Specialist

Franjellica Amiker, MBA-HCAD, is a communications and healthcare strategy professional with a strong background in digital content creation, branding, and public health engagement. She currently serves as a Communications Specialist for Emory University School of Medicine’s Infectious Diseases Division, supporting the Southern Regional Disaster Response System (SRDRS) and the Regional Emerging Special Pathogen Treatment Centers (RESPTC). In this role, she leads communication strategy, develops cross-platform messaging, designs high-impact publications, and manages website content to strengthen regional preparedness and partnership networks. She also designed the Year 3 Annual Report Glossy and is developing SRDRS’s communication strategy to enhance national visibility and collaboration opportunities.

Previously, Franjellica supported community engagement and clinical research outreach at Emory’s Hope Clinic, where she represented research initiatives at conferences, created multimedia content, and increased the clinic’s digital visibility by 25%. Her earlier experience includes healthcare communications at The IV Group, disaster relief coordination with the American Red Cross, and administrative and analytical roles at Northside Hospital and Enterprise Holdings. She also completed public health research training as a CUPS Scholar at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Franjellica holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Healthcare Administration from Valdosta State University. She is known for her creativity, strategic thinking, and ability to translate complex health information into clear, engaging communication.
