Meet Our Medical Operations Coordination Cells Manager

Madeleine Nuebel, MPH, AEMT, is the Medical Operations Coordination Cell (MOCC) Project Manager for the ASPR TRACIE-funded Southern Regional Disaster Response System (SRDRS). In this role, she leads efforts to develop a regional MOCC capability for the Southeastern United States, enhancing disaster preparedness and response capabilities across the region. Before joining the SRDRS team, Madeleine served as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) and Mobile Integrated Health program developer for a large metro Atlanta fire department. There, she focused on improving equity and access to healthcare and social resources for underserved populations in the Atlanta area. Madeleine earned her Master of Public Health from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University in 2023, where she developed expertise in public health systems, emergency response, and community health initiatives.
