
Meet Our Disaster Virtual Care Project Manager
Stephanie Payne, MBA, LSSGB, serves as the Project Manager for Disaster Telemedicine and Pediatric Initiatives with the Southern Regional Disaster Response System (SRDRS) for HHS Region 4, based at Emory University School of Medicine. In this role, she leads the planning and implementation of innovative disaster virtual care and pediatric initiatives that enhance regional healthcare readiness and strengthens response capacity during patient surge and disaster incidents.
With more than 30 years of experience across non-profit and local government sectors, Stephanie's background includes health and human services, emergency preparedness and response, business continuity, and U.S. repatriation operations. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Liberty University and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of North Carolina Charlotte, applying her knowledge and expertise in emergency preparedness and response, project management, strategic planning, change management, and process improvement to help advance disaster healthcare resilience across the Southeast.
